Sand Dune Motel is one of the smaller motels in Treasure Island...small enough that you do not have to compete for a parking space. We are the new owners, Suzee and Ray Ryel. We recently remodeled (in 1999) all the rooms and won the "Beautification Award" from the City of Treasure Island.
We are located at the north end of Treasure Island; directly south of the Johns Pass Bridge on the Gulf of Mexico side. We are not directly on the water but we are only 50 yards from the beach. Treasure Island is just 5 miles north of St Pete Beach and 10 miles south of Clearwater Beach. The TAMPA AIRPORT is 45 minutes away and ORLANDO (Disney, Universal Studios and more) are just 90 miles away. |

We are located 100 yards from GATORS RESTAURANT with the "largest waterfront bar in the world"; 200 yards from JOHNS PASS VILLAGE where you will find dozens of restaurants, shopping, fishing charters. Try parasailing at JET WORKS located behind GATORS. Try gambling on the Majesty I casino boat sailing out of John's Pass.
All apartments completely redecorated with all new appliances & furniture. Full kitchens. Living rooms have new queen size pull out sofa beds. |

Efficiency apartments for two consists of a double bed, tile shower, cable TV with an apartment size refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
One bedroom apartment: will sleep up to four people. Queen size bed in bedroom with pull-out queen size sofa bed in living room. Complete kitchen. Tiled shower. This apartment has a private patio for use of its tenants. One bedroom apartment: sleeps up to six people. Bedroom has two double beds, a pull-out queen size couch in the living room. Large living room with view of the Gulf. Also Gulf Views from kitchen & large bedroom. 3 new Air Conditioners and 4 new white ceiling fans. Two bedroom sleeps up to eight people. Living room has a queen size pull-out sofa bed. Cable TV. Fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom has 2 double beds, full tiled bath w/ shower.
